Signs You Need Tree Removal
Some trees announce the problem loudly. Big splits in the trunk, mushrooms growing at the base, bark falling off in sheets, dead branches you can snap with one hand. Others hide it: a slight lean that got worse after the last storm, half the canopy with no leaves, roots lifting the sidewalk. Any of those is a sign to bring someone out to look.
Waiting almost always costs more. A standing dead tree gets brittle. A leaning tree gets heavier on one side. Once a tree fails on its own, the price is no longer a standard removal, it is an emergency call with possible roof or fence repair. If the trunk is hollow, the lean is over your house, or major limbs are dead, removal is usually the right call. For a standard yard tree, that is a straight removal with ropes and rigging. For tight spots, trees over a roof, or anything we cannot safely drop in pieces from the tree itself, we bring in a crane. If the tree is already down or hanging on the house, that is an Emergency Tree Removal, not a scheduled removal. We respond weekends and after hours for those.
