What Firewood Problems Do You Have?
The biggest firewood problem in Northeast Ohio is green wood sold as seasoned. Green wood is heavier, hisses on the fire, smokes more, and dumps creosote in your chimney. Seasoned hardwood has dried long enough that the moisture is out. It lights easier, throws more heat, and burns clean.
The second problem is sizing. People order a face cord thinking they're getting a full cord, or they order a full cord without anywhere to put it. A face cord is about a third of a full cord. We tell you which one matches your burn season before the truck loads. The third problem is timing. Stark, Summit, and Medina counties hit hard winters fast, and ordering in November means picking from low inventory. Order in August or September and you have time to stack it and let it sit before the first cold week.
Our Firewood Services
We sell seasoned hardwood firewood, oak, cherry, ash, and mixed hardwood. Oak burns long and hot, cherry smells good and lights easy, ash is the all-around workhorse, and mixed hardwood gives you a little of everything at the best price. Pricing starts at $249.
You can order it three ways. A bundle is the smallest size, good for fire pits and quick weekend burns. A face cord is one row of 16-inch pieces stacked 4 feet by 8 feet, about a third of a full cord. A full cord is the standard 4 by 4 by 8, 128 cubic feet, what most regular wood burners order each season. We help you size it on the call.
Delivery is included on cord orders across Stark and Summit County, dump-and-go in the driveway or wherever you point. If you want it stacked, add stacking at delivery for $100 and we'll do it before we leave. We name the price before we load the truck, and we name any variable cost upfront. Pricing is pretty cut and dry.
