Bare, disturbed yards after a removal are the call we get most. The tree is down, the cleanup is done, and now the spot needs topsoil, grading, and seed before the rain washes it out. We get there fast and finish the property so it looks like work happened, not like work blew up.
If you've already tried a couple of guys with a tailgate full of bagged mulch, you know how that goes. You're in the right place. We carry bulk material, name the price before we start, and pull off the job clean.
What Landscaping Problems Do You Have?
The two biggest landscaping problems we see in Stark, Summit, and Medina counties are water and worn-out beds. Standing water and pooling near the foundation usually means the grade is wrong, not that the gutters are bad. A regrade with the right slope away from the house fixes most of it. Chronic yard drainage problems get the same treatment, sometimes with a swale or a French drain tied in.
The other problem is the yard after a tree comes down. The stump grinder leaves a hole, the ruts from the truck need topsoil, and the bare patches need seed. Done wrong, you get a low spot that collects water for the next ten years. Mulch beds with no edge, weeds growing through, and dyed-out color are the third one. DIY usually means bagged mulch from the box store, no edging, and beds that look the same in a month. We bring bulk mulch, cut a fresh edge, clear the weeds, and lay it level.
Our Landscaping Services
Bulk Mulch Delivery is the cheapest way to mulch a property. We deliver by the yard at $99 a yard across Stark and Summit County. If you want it installed too, Mulch Installation (Full-Service) is the call. That includes bed edging and weed clearing, and we name the price on the walkthrough.
Stone & Gravel Delivery covers two different jobs. Decorative stone like river rock and pea gravel goes around beds and walkways. Functional stone like crushed limestone, 304, and 411 is what you want under a driveway base or a pad. Either way, stone is priced separately by type and quantity, and we say that upfront. Installation or spread is an add-on if you want us to place it.
Topsoil & Fill Dirt Delivery trips a lot of people up. Topsoil is screened, holds nutrients, and is what you plant in or seed over. Fill dirt is cheaper, denser, and used to raise grade where nothing needs to grow. We name which one you actually need before the truck loads. Topsoil is $199 flat for one cubic yard delivered and installed.
Yard Grading & Leveling is the fix for standing water by the foundation, ruts from equipment, and the post-removal yard restoration after a tree comes down. We regrade, prep a seedbed, and lay topsoil so the spot is ready for sod or seed. Excavation Services handles the bigger digs, drainage, footings, and site prep.
Residential Landscaping ties the property back together with fresh beds, clean edges, and plant material that fits the spot. Tree & Shrub Planting uses stock sourced from local nurseries so it's adapted to Northeast Ohio. Bundle a tree removal with stump grinding and topsoil and the property is finish-ready when we pull off.
Landscaping for North Canton Homes and Businesses
North Canton homes sit on a mix of clay and disturbed fill, and that's the reason drainage shows up first when something's wrong. The yards around Canton, Massillon, Akron, Cuyahoga Falls, and Wooster all see the same thing, water pooling at the low corner of the house in spring and a hard crust by August. Local soil matters when you pick topsoil versus fill, and it matters more when you pick which grass to seed.
We work all seven counties, Stark, Summit, Medina, Wayne, Portage, Tuscarawas, and Mahoning, and we've seen what each part of the area asks for. A house in Hudson with mature oaks needs different bed work than a newer build in Green sitting on graded fill. We've done both, and we walk the property before we name the job.
